My name is Aaminah Aleem, and I am a BACP-registered integrative counsellor and psychotherapist offering professional counselling and psychotherapy services. I hold an MSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, with extensive experience working in primary care settings, including the NHS and specialist substance misuse services.
I am based in Birmingham, West Midlands and offer online counselling sessions to clients across the United Kingdom, making therapy accessible wherever you are.
I work using a person-centred approach, creating a safe and non-judgemental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. I also integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), helping you identify and challenge unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour, and develop healthier, more effective coping strategies.
In addition, I draw on attachment theory to help you understand how early relationships may influence your current relationships, emotional responses, and sense of self. Together, we can explore these patterns with compassion, building greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and stronger, healthier connections.
As an integrative therapist, I tailor each counselling session to your individual needs and goals. I offer support with a range of issues, including anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship difficulties, and personal development. I am here to support you in making positive, meaningful changes in your life.
